As the ideal candidate, you will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills and play a vital role to fuel our growth. Your role will span across existing and new Fabs, improving processes and thereby wafer yields, increasing manufacturing productivity that are key to achieving Fab excellence. Coaching Associate Engineers (AEs) will also be part of your job responsibilities.What You Will DoMaintain and support equipment readiness in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager.Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of equipmentExecute maintenance and tool support ensuring equipment readinessTroubleshoot and upgrade of equipment ensuring minimize downtimeAnalyze and monitor technical chartsDrive equipment improvement plans and projectsEnsure and follow good safety practices and custody of tools, equipments and other propertiesPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirementsWork and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as neededWhat You Will NeedBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in engineering or equivalentAt least 2 years of relevant experience in equipment engineering, preferably in a wafer fab / Electronics / Electrical industryProven ability to identify, assess and solve problemsPerform Normal / Swing Shift (or 12-hour rotating shift if required)GlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
