Engineer / Senior Engineer (link Sewers), 2 Year Contract
Job Description
What the role is:
You will serve as a Project Engineer / Civil engineer, involving in project management and contract administration, including overseeing the consultant, in the implementation of the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System (DTSS) Phase 2 Link Sewers.
What you will be working on:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following : Manage contracts to ensure safe completion of project within cost and time and compliance to tender specifications Work with the consultant in overseeing the contractors in the construction of the DTSS2 Link Sewers Contract Management (e.g. verify and process progress payments, monitor and manage budget, evaluate variation proposals) Checking of contractor's submissions to ensure compliance to specifications Site Coordination - Assist in the planning and coordination of multiple contracts with concurrent work on site Prepare and present progress reports to management Liaise with PUB counterparts, consultants and relevant authorities
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Civil Engineering Candidates with relevant experience / specialisation in pipe-jacking are preferred Self-motivated and driven Work well independently and also a good team player Work Location Officer will be based at PUB Waterhub, 80 Toh Guan Road East, S(608575)
