Engineer / Senior Engineer Technology Department
Job Description
What the role is
The Engineer will be an integral member of the Industrial Water Solutions (IWS) Team, where the responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
• Work within a team to identify and secure IWS projects to offset the projected growth in non-domestic water demand. Knowledge in industrial manufacturing processes, water balance charts, water treatment processes is hence advantageous
• Manage and ensure IWS projects (water recycling) are executed and commissioned as planned. Project management skills and comfort with site work is hence advantageous
• Exploring and assessing new technologies/ideas from Technology Providers for industrial deployment
• Organise Seminars and Forums to promote IWS technical awareness
• To assist other units within PUB on technical matters and provide inputs on the technical feasibility/ evaluation of technology or processes
What you will be working on
What we are looking for
• Degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical/Environmental disciplines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good writing and communication skills
• Self-motivated, driven, meticulous, analytical and systematic
• Works well independently and also a resourceful team player
