What you will do:

Evaluation of Technologies:

Assess the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical systems for maritime applications, including harbour crafts, merchant vessels, FPSO/FLNG, and new applications such as floating nuclear power plants, floating data centers, floating substations, and offshore wind farms. Evaluate emerging technologies, such as renewable energy integration, microgrids, and energy storage solutions, to ensure compliance with classification society rules and international standards. Conduct technical analyses and simulations to verify the feasibility and robustness of electrical systems under various environmental and operational conditions. Drive techno-economic analysis on various levels, from vessel to fleet and ecosystem, to provide advisories to the stakeholders for the implementation of new technologies, considering both technical and commercial aspects.
Development of Rules & Standards:

Contribute to the development of new rules, standards, and guidelines for maritime electrification technologies. Collaborate with industry stakeholders to identify gaps in current standards and propose solutions to address emerging technologies. Ensure all evaluations align with existing classification society rules, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
Technical Analysis & Design Support:

Provide technical expertise to support the integration of electrical systems for maritime platforms. Review and validate technical specifications and design criteria provided by industry stakeholders.
Collaboration & Communication:
