Job Description

Design & Planning

Review, interpret, and validate electro-mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.


Assist in preparing engineering calculations, load schedules, and equipment sizing.


Plan work sequences to ensure smooth integration of electrical and mechanical systems.

Project Execution

Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems.


Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely completion of works.


Ensure integration between electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

Quality & Compliance

Conduct inspections to verify adherence to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.


Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.


Ensure compliance with statutory codes, regulations, and client requirements.

Problem-Solving & Support

Troubleshoot system faults, analyze root causes, and propose corrective actions.


Support project teams during testing, commissioning, and handover phases.


Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for technical clarifications.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.


Professional Engineer (PE) or relevant certifications (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience

Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in construction projects, preferably in electrical contracting companies.


Knowledge of project execution in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of electrical systems


Familiarity with mechanical equipment


Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.


Knowledge of international codes and standards

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.


Good communication and reporting skills (written and verbal).


Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements

Willingness to work at construction sites and attend client/consultant meetings. Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and practices. * Flexibility to work extended hours or shifts based on project needs
