Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Production Engineer

to join our aviation manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality and efficient production of aircraft components. This role requires a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards, materials, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily manufacturing operations for aviation components and assemblies. Develop, implement, and maintain production processes to improve quality and efficiency. Work closely with design, quality assurance, and procurement teams to meet production targets and timelines. Analyze production data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO, and other relevant aerospace standards. Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment. Maintain accurate production documentation and reports. Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices. Monitor safety standards and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

2-5+ years of experience in production engineering within an aerospace or aviation manufacturing environment. Familiarity with CNC machining, composites, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly processes.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.) Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Understanding of GD&T, BOMs, and technical drawings.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt). Experience with aircraft structural components or interior systems.
