Job Description

Job Scope:

Manage projects related to Sanitary, Plumbing, and Gas Services. Prepare shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings. Document method statements and work procedures. Review and monitor site construction activities to ensure work is completed according to schedule. Conduct evaluation, cost estimation, and analysis for Sanitary, Plumbing, and Gas works. Liaise with Local Authorities, Consultants, Architects, Main Contractors, Sub-contractors, and Suppliers as required. Attend site meetings, inspections, and audits conducted by authorities or consultants. Prepare progress reports, claims, variation orders (VO), method statements, and safe work procedures. Assist the project manager in monitoring and handling project progress. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and vendors on site to ensure work meets specifications. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements on site. Track and maintain materials and equipment usage for project reporting. Review and check drawings and specifications for discrepancies or design issues. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and technical submissions. Maintain accurate records of work progress, including site diary entries and photographic documentation.

Job Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role with relevant design knowledge. Experience with HDB projects in Singapore is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. Knowledge of tender costing, including evaluation and cost estimation for Sanitary, Plumbing, and Gas services, is an advantage. Familiarity with Singapore building codes and HDB guidelines. Ability to interpret and apply engineering standards and specifications. Knowledge of project management tools or software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is an advantage. Relevant certifications such as WSQ Safety or Workplace Safety training are advantageous. Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Ability to work independently in a demanding and challenging environment. * Willing to attend to site matters or emergency calls beyond office hours when required.
