Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Management Team in Project Management, Contract Administration and Site Supervision.
• Coordinate with a team of Resident Engineers (RE) and Resident Technical Officers (RTO) on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and Client's requirements.
• Work closely with Project Management Team, QP(S), QP(D), Client, Contractors and local Authorities to ensure successful and timely completion of the project.
• Attend regular site progress meetings, ad-hoc meetings, and site inspections to resolve site issues.
• Prepare slides for presentation and draft minutes for meetings.
• Review Contractor's submissions to ensure compliance with regulatory and Client's requirements.
• Prepare reports, track progress and follow up on site issues.
• Identify any non-conformance of Contractor's works on site and to follow up with Contractor to ensure rectification of non-conformance.

Requirements :

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by IES that allows registration as Resident Engineer with IES.
• Preferably possess minimum 1 year's relevant work experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
• Preferably possess working experience in project management and geotechnical works. Added advantage for work experience in reclamation works.
• Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player and able to multi-task.
• Discipline, self-motivated and resourceful.
• Willing to travel to an offshore island project site as required.
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite of Software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc).
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plaxis etc will be advantageous.
