Job Description

What the role is:
As an Engineer in the System Management Div at Water Systems Department, you will play a crucial role in both the project development, scaling up of operation efforts and safety. You will collaborate closely with the team of engineers and contractors to support various projects.
What you will be working on:
Your job role will include, but is not limited to the following: o Develop and review implementation framework, prepare budgets and projected expenses. o Analyse and interpret data to support decision-making and process improvement. o Prepare and draft tender requirements/specifications (including technical requirements if necessary) and oversee the process of tender calling, evaluation and award of contract in accordance with established procurement procedures. o Managing contracts and performing administrative procurement tasks to ensure timely delivery of projects within the allocated budget, compliance with government agencies' requirements, standards and contract specifications. o Coordinating, consulting and obtaining approval from stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of projects. o Managing public feedback, if any, during the project implementation. o Any other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:

• Degree in Engineering, preferably with at least 2 years of experience in project management o Independent, result-oriented and resourceful team player with good communication and strong organizational skills o Analytical abilities to interpret data and carry out appropriate analysis. o Proficient in computer skills - e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) o Candidates without prior experience are also welcome to apply o Work Location: Waterhub, 80 Toh Guan Road East, Singapore (608575)
