Job Description

19 July 2024As an Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Test, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment to identify issues and ensure that our applications meet the highest standards.Mandatory Skill(s)

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing;
• Excellent knowledge of testing skills, including functional testing, test plan and strategy design, and bug lifecycle management;
• Proficiency in SQL/database management;
• Strong Java programming and debugging skills;
• Familiarity with Oracle, Linux, Jenkins, GIT, and REST;
• Experience with build management tools;
• Proven experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks;
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for automated UI testing;
• Proficiency in managing and executing tests using TestNG;
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/DevOps teams;
• Expertise in end-to-end (E2E) testing;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment;

Desirable Skill(s)

• Ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement;
• Keen eye for identifying issues and ensuring accuracy in test cases and results;

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies.
• Write and execute detailed test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Manage the bug lifecycle, including logging, tracking, and verifying bug fixes.
• Utilize SQL/database skills to validate data integrity and correctness.
• Develop and execute automated UI tests using Selenium and manage tests using TestNG.
• Design and develop test automation frameworks to enhance test efficiency.
• Debug and optimize Java code to improve software performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Utilize tools such as Oracle, Linux, Jenkins, GIT, and REST to support testing activities.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum/DevOps processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conduct end-to-end (E2E) testing to ensure the complete workflow meets business requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative team environment.
