Study, research and develop ideas for new products related to Large Calibre WeaponSystem, as well as modify or upgrade of existing products either to improve performance or address obsolescence. Delivered product must take into consideration of performance, safety, cost, and maintenance, which requires the Designer Engineers to work with other stakeholders within the organisation. Designer Engineers will use Computer Aided Design software to create modelling and assembly, as well as drafting of drawings.
Responsibilities

• study of requirement or task prior to commencement of design
• present design concepts for design review and discussion
• assess the design based on performance, safety, manufacturability, reliability and maintainability
• prepare design rcords and test plan for submission
• support test and analyze data from tests on prototypes
• review design performance and propose modification to optimize designs

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-4 years experience in mechanical design, preferably with knowledge on mechanism design and actuator selections. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge in mechanical design software, e.g. Unigraphics, Pro-Engineer
• Having understanding on implementation of mechatronics design will be an added advantage
• Able to provide clear analysis to substantiate design.
• Willing to travel overseas
• Working location at Boon Lay (near MRT station)
