What the role is:
As an Engineer/Executive Engineer Cybersecurity and System Control (PLC / SCADA) in the Changi Water Reclamation Plant, you will be part of the team responsible for the treatment of used water to quality suitable for NEWater production and for safe discharge to the sea. We are looking for motivated individuals to join us.
What you will be working on:
Your job role will include but are not limited to the following: o Supervise and manage contractors involved in SCADA and PLC installation, servicing, and maintenance o Install, configure, and maintain SCADA servers and client workstations, including platforms such as Intellution iFIX and Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA o Install, program, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) from brands such as Schneider, Siemens, and Mitsubishi o Integrate and connect field instruments with PLCs and SCADA systems, ensuring seamless data acquisition and control o Investigate and troubleshoot faults in SCADA servers, workstations, and PLCs, ensuring timely resolution o Perform regular backups and recovery procedures, security patches and firmware upgrades for PLC and SCADA equipment to ensure system reliability and security o Implement, maintain, and manage additional applications or systems as needed to enhance automation and cybersecurity resiliency
What we are looking for:

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical disciplines) or equivalent o Relevant work experience in instrumentation, control, and automation, including PLCs, field instruments, and SCADA systems, and implementing cybersecurity solutions for SCADA and PLCs will be advantage o Comfortable with working in a used water treatment plant environment o Independent, result-oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills. o Respond to urgent situations outside normal working hours
