What the role is:
Officer will lead a team responsible for installation, replacements and removal of large water meters and related operational activities across the west of Singapore. This is a crucial role in ensuring service quality while driving process improvements through digitalisation and/or automation. Key responsibilities include:
What you will be working on:
(1) Lead the team that oversees water meter installation, replacement, and removal operations at customer premises; (2) Plan and implement the routine meter replacement programme to ensure billing and operational accuracy; (3) Coordinate works with external stakeholders such as other government agencies and contractors (4) Responding to and managing customer feedback and urgent situations arising from metering works (5) End-to-end tender management for metering works, including budget preparation and specification development (6) Oversee contract administration, including budget monitoring and payment processing (7) Lead process improvement initiatives through digital transformation and data-driven solutions
What we are looking for:
Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering. (1) Independent, result-oriented, and resourceful team player with good communication and strong organizational skills (2) Able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment and willingness to respond to emergency situations when required (3) Aptitude for and proficiency in Python/R. and experience with data analysis and data visualisation software such as Qliksense, would be a plus.
