Engineering Administrator, Singapore

This role will provide the incumbent exposure to a manufacturing plant environment, reporting into the engineering department. The engineering administrator is responsible for managing routine office administration duties and supporting the engineering department in technical administration of documents related to procurement, utilities, and maintenance management systems.

The Position:

General administrative support to the Engineering team. Typical tasks include:

  • Coordination of activity between Safety and Engineering team, i.e ensure relevant permits - hardcopies are available, personal protective equipment supplies are available.
  • Editing and printing support (word, excel, power point)
  • Ensure 5S of office and pantry is upkept and supplies are available.
  • General office administrative duties as required.
Technical administrative support to the Engineering team. Typical tasks include:
  • Works closely with Reliability Engineer and owns the master data entry of technical assets and spare parts inventory into the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Supports Utility & Facility team in data entry of hazardous waste and sustainability related data into the relevant system.
  • Works with Finance team and supports in engineering related procurement, invoicing, and issuance of project identification.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Diploma in Admin, Engineering with at least 3 years of experience
  • Skilled in the efficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to plan and coordinate with team activity effectively.
  • Self-driven individual with the ability to complete tasks on time and to high level of quality.
  • Experience in use of maintenance management system, SAP will be an added advantage.
