Youxe2x80x99ll be part of a team thatxe2x80x99s integral to ResMedxe2x80x99s growth, driving engineering excellence and innovation in medical device development.Letxe2x80x99s Talk About the Role:Operate and maintain 3D printers, rapid prototyping machines, and other workshop tools to support prototype development.Perform hands-on prototyping tasks such as cutting, gluing, painting, and assembling parts for product development engineers.Manage consumables inventory and assist with material procurement for the prototyping function.Learn and apply advanced prototyping techniques to bring innovative concepts to life.Support engineers with design reviews, quality assurance, and testing to ensure prototypes meet ResMedxe2x80x99s high standards.Work within a safe, OH&S-compliant environment, adhering to medical device development standards and ResMedxe2x80x99s quality systems.Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and workflow efficiency.Letxe2x80x99s Talk About You:Hands-on and Crafty: Youxe2x80x99re a natural maker, passionate about creating and building with excellent hand skills.Mechanically Inclined: You have a diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering or a trade background (e.g., fitter machinist, maintenance fitter) with experience in precision work or medical devices (a plus).Adaptable and Eager to Learn: Youxe2x80x99re excited by the steep learning curve in medical prototyping and thrive on challenges in a discovery-driven environment.Team-Oriented Communicator: You enjoy collaborating with engineers and can communicate effectively, both written and verbally.Detail-Oriented and Organized: You have a keen eye for detail and the organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.Letxe2x80x99s Talk About Skills and Experience:Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field (e.g., workshop operations, prototyping, or precision assembly) preferred.Proficiency in using basic hand tools and workshop machinery.Familiarity with medical device manufacturing or precision engineering is a bonus.Why Join Us?At ResMed, wexe2x80x99re shaping the future of Sleep and Health innovation through cutting-edge design and development.
