Aquaporin Asia Pte. Ltd is a subsidiary of Aquaporin A/S, a fast growing, Danish Cleantech company developing a unique Biomimetic membrane technology dedicated to revolutionizing water purification by means of industrial biotech techniques and thinking. The main strategy is to develop the Aquaporin Inside* technology capable of separating and purifying water from all other compounds.
Aquaporin Asia is seeking an intern or part-timer to join the development of the Aquaporin Inside* Technology.

Tasks & responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Perform the membrane assessment quantitatively and qualitatively, including but not limited to: flat sheet and hollow fiber membrane, different module form factors, for pilot production testing and application testing evaluation
• Responsible for systematic data collection, data entry, upkeeping of database in consistent and structured manner
• Produce regular and ad-hoc reports on test results, with relevant tabulations, data visualisation and observations
• Report any abnormalities or out-of-specs performance to supervisor in timely manner
• Perform analysis on sample with analytical instrument such as viscometer, spectrophotometer, etc, whenever applicable
• Assist in validation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrument / equipment
• Assist in reviewing, compiling and record keeping of documentation such as testing record, calibration/test record, risk assessment, method of statement, standard operating procedures, and inventory checklist
• Other administrative roles and ad-hoc tasks such as maintenance / housekeeping of laboratories and workstations, receival / registration of delivered goods/assets

Requirement:

• Bachelor / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• Excellent analytical, observational and problem solving skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Highly motivated, proactive and take initiatives to own and manage tasks and projects
• Passionate in product development, R&D, sustainability, water treatment and membrane technology
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Knowledge in Matlab, Python, PowerBi, or AutoCad is welcomed
