Duties & Responsibilities:

Set-up and operate cold rolling mill. Work according to production plan and coordinate the work of production staff to maintain operational efficiency. Carry out in process measurements, maintain product quality and report any deviations to respective personnel. Monitor process/machines and troubleshoot/report any deviations to respective personnel. Maintain the plant clean, organized and safe by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions. Conduct internal audits to monitor safe work practices, ISO procedures, rules and regulations. Lead in continuous TPM improvement initiatives. Understands customer requirements, and provide the relevant services to achieve expected results. Collaborates with others at all levels, participates actively in workgroups, contributes ideas, offers and asks for support, create mutual trust and respect. Work closely with management to develop and implement effective production strategies, particularly for growing thin foil and LFX capabilities. Major troubleshooting of machine/process. Provide Training and mentor Junior technicians. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with management to develop and implement production strategies.

Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of experience in metal industry At least 4 years experience in team Lead position. Committed, self-starter and team player Good in analyzing and solving problems Able to read, write and speak in English Willingness to learn and educate others Ability to work in rotating shifts and perform overtime on weekdays and weekends if required Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Having experience in Cold rolling mill, Strip annealing, Pickling, Levelling or Sling machines is an added advantage * Knowledge of LEAN management (TPM, 5S, NEE & OEE)
