[What the role is]
Landfill Management and Operations Department (LMOD) oversees Semakau Landfill which is Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s only landfill for waste disposal. Ash from incineration plants and non-incinerable waste such as construction and renovation debris are disposed of at the landfill.

[What you will be working on]

The job description of an EM/AEM at Semakau Landfill (SL) are as follow:

To lead Senior Engineering Executive (SEE) / Engineering Executive (EE) in supervising the resident contractor in landfill operation, the operation and maintenance (O & M) of landfill equipment, vehicles and floating platform, and to ensure high availability to meet operational targets.

To lead SEE/EE in supervising the resident contractor in the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical (M&E) equipment, ensuring that they are operated safely, and regularly maintained to achieve high availability.

To prepare and call quotations for the supply of spare parts for the landfill, M&E equipment and building services.

To prepare and call quotations for work and services, administer Contracts and supervise the contractors in carrying out their works to meet contractual requirements.

To perform any other works, duties and responsibilities assigned.

[What we are looking for]

At least a diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, civil or mechatronic engineering.

Experience in the O & M of diesel engines, generator, mechanical and electrical control systems, and procurement of spare parts and services will be advantageous.

Good leadership quality/supervisory skills.

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Willing and able to work at an offshore landfill environment

Able to work on average of one Saturday and one Sunday per month on rotating dayshift.
