Caterpillar is a place that provides you with a challenging and inclusive environment to help make a difference globally.We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Intern to join SPM Oil & Gas in Singapore.Primary responsibilities (but not limited to):Responsibilities of the intern are across functional lines. The intern may be assigned a combination of responsibilities in performing engineering design and calculations, drawings creation, organization of design reviews, and basic project management. Excellent communication skill is needed as the intern is required to communicate with end users and internal customers.Learn about Surface Wellhead Products and Ancillary equipmentLearn Oil and Gas related engineering processes.Learn engineering softwares such as Solidworks, Autocad, Mathcad, etc.Perform basic engineering design verification such as calculations and FEA for different wellhead productsPerform basic engineering design validation such as stack-up tests for different wellhead productsParticipate in engineering design meetings and training coursesThis position is on 5-day work week, with 3 days required in the office for optimal collaboration.
