Internship Overview
We are seeking motivated Engineering Interns to join our team for a 6-month industrial attachment. This internship provides hands-on experience in engineering design, project execution, and site management, allowing you to apply academic knowledge to real industry challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and analysis of engineering systems (mechanical, electrical, process).
Support preparation of engineering drawings, P&IDs, calculations, and reports.
Participate in project coordination, vendor engagement, and client meetings.
Conduct site inspections, data collection, and supervision support for ongoing works.
Contribute to risk assessments, method statements, and compliance checks (ISO, MOM, SCDF, NFPA, SS codes).
Work with senior engineers on concept design, detailed engineering, and commissioning activities.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in NTU / NUS in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related).
Eligible for 6-month full-time industrial attachment.
Strong interest in semiconductor / advanced manufacturing facilities.
Knowledge of engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, CFD, PipeFlow, HYSYS) is an advantage.
Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
