Nexus Ecosystems is innovating for Water Conservation, Decarbonisation and Resource Recovery for an Active, Beautiful and Clean World. We are pioneering solutions for the Water-Energy-Materials Nexus to close multiple resource loops. As a Singapore based, globally-networked innovation catalyst, we specialize in water and energy management for buildings and industries. Some of the past achievements by members of the Nexus team include being part of the inaugural winning team of the Zayed Sustainability Prize - Water Category awarded by the UAE government in 2019, as well as receiving the Most Valuable Technology Award at the Singapore International Water Week in 2022.

Engineering Intern's Job Responsibilities

We treat interns as full-time professional and empower them to perform to their full potential. As an intern, you will:

- Apply practical engineering knowledge to design and develop wastewater and energy treatment solutions

- Manage water and wastewater projects (in Singapore and nearby markets),

- Be involved in the marketing and assessment of new wastewater and energy technologies

Specific responsibilities may entail:

a) conduct research into specific water challenges

b) evaluate client's existing wastewater and energy treatment systems

c) identify problem areas and root causes for troubleshooting

d) identify and propose solutions weighing the pros and cons

e) recommend the most practical and cost-effective solution

f) perform sizing of the treatment system and budget

g) plan the project execution from end-to-end

h) procurement of equipment

i) liaising with technology vendors and learn new innovations

You are expected to be versatile to be able to take on other roles that support the company's operations and business i.e market research / business development activities.

Note: Intern may be required to travel overseas for projects

Job Types: Contract, Temporary, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Downtown Core
