If you\'re ready to do the most ambitious work of your career, join us.About the teamThis is an exciting greenfield opportunity to design and implement a scalable platform to support the rollout of Airwallex Lending & Yields across all customer regions and cohorts.As a team, we will own the client investment & settlement workflows (signup, investment, redemption), reconciliation control, unit registry / investment ledger and integration rails with our investment providers.Read about what we are up to here:What you\'ll doAs an Engineering Lead in the Yield team, you will be responsible for leading a group of talented engineers to develop the critical Yield capabilities. The Lead will be excited to expand the impact beyond software and can thrive in a startup environment with ambiguity and rapid changes.This role is based in Singapore.Responsibilities:Lead a team of high performing engineers and assist in new hiring. Motivate and mentor team members to grow in their rolesWork closely with product managers and key stakeholders to define product roadmap, prioritize projects and ship incrementally to productionBuild high available low latency distributed systems with a hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructureSupport the engineering team on architecture evolution, quality improvement and engineering risk mitigationManage processes to help the team do its best workCollaborate with cross-functional teams for operational excellence and delightful user experienceWho you areWe\'re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.Minimum qualifications:B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experienceManaged teams that have shipped and operated large scale, highly available distributed systemsExperience with backend technologies is essential.
