Job Role and Responsibilities Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Engineer, you will:
- Execute of predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance works for fixed and rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform hands-on repair on mechanical and rotating equipment on site.
- Execute facilities maintenance repair works.
- Provide support to Engineer to maintain and update maintenance work procedures, instructions and spare parts.
- Work closely with various divisions and be involved in corporate HSSEQI Management Systems.
- Manage site works and coordinate with contractors.
- Follow up on long-term maintenance planning to maintain/improve plant equipment reliability.
- Execute plant turnaround jobs.
- Perform standby maintenance duty and callback after office hours.
Job Requirement
- Minimum ITE (Nitec / Higher Nitec) in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution
- Working experience in petrochemical industry will be advantageous.
- Good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
- Proactive, independent and team player.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings would be advantageous.
- Basic computer knowledge in MS office applications (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc).
