• Collaborates with clients to deliver next-generation financial solutions using TTS Innovation Labs.

This role will partner with product and Architects to lead the full solution life cycle -- from product definition to solution development. This role will build large and complex Solutions that require the coordination of multiple LOB\'s and Agile Release Trains (ARTs). We are seeking a Engineering Manager to lead our transformation of Real time high speed instant payments platform. The successful candidate requires a deep knowledge and successful track record in developing and delivering solutions across continuum from client experience to the global market infrastructures. Their oversight allows the train to run smoothly by identifying and resolving bottlenecks across the entire solution. Lay out the technical vision and architecture that is both scalable and low latency. As an Engineering Manager, you\'ll work closely with your team, architects, and other engineering leaders to build products and features that support our vision of helping teams and users collaborate.

Responsibilities:

• Manage teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
• Partner closely with other engineering leadership to set technical direction
• Deliver high quality technical solutions to multiple global stakeholders in a fast paced environment
• Lead discussions about project architecture and technical feasibility
• Create an engineering excellence culture through knowledge sharing, innovation and embracing best practices through agile delivery. Ensure adherence to Technology Engineering KPIs
• Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
• Work with engineering, product, and leadership teams to plan and execute programs and deliver results
• Identify and communicate risks and blockers. Actively work to resolve these and drive successful deliveries.
• Demonstrates understanding of Payments and cloud
• Roll out Instant Payment capabilities like Zelle, FedNow, UPI, Paytm etc
• Owns and drives the program end to end to lead a successful cloud (AWS, GCP) implementation for a franchise critical payment system
• Interface with central cloud team
• Drives data related initiatives
• A hands on Engineering leader responsible for implementing enterprise scale solutions
• Influence and negotiate with senior product and ops leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of engineering experience building multi-tiered payment engines with high availability and throughput including 5 years of management experience.
• Strong history of driving, leading Solutions Architecture
• Experience in program management preferably from a applications development background
• Experience managing global teams and driving progress by influence and ownership
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience driving cloud roadmap strategy and definition is preferable
• Experience with public (AWS) or hybrid cloud is preferable (Kubernetes or Knative)
• Experience with modernizing and migrating applications/clients to strategic architectures
• Experience building hybrid cloud architectures leveraging Java, Kafka, Mongo.
• Prior knowledge of Instant Payments, Real Time Payment systems like Zelle, Venmo, Paypal etc is highly desirable
• Working knowledge of industry practices and standards
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor\'s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master\'s degree preferred
