Engineering\'s ambition is to be one of the world\'s highest performing, customer centric and progressive engineering teams.The Planner supports Engineering by performing operation functions to enable our customers to enjoy our service in the form of exceptional safety, on-time performance, and cabin experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLine Maintenance is an operational critical section in Engineering Department that supports the Company\'s brand and business by delivering a safe, reliable and cost-effective line maintenance service to Cathay Pacific Airways as well as our third party customers in the global network.The Planner is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities and ensure necessary resource is available for the performance of maintenance.Responsible for:
Participate in meetings with airline\'s maintenance planning team to discuss maintenance planning and resource allocation.
Review resources allocation prior to the input to ensure necessary manpower, spares, tools, equipment, etc, are available for the input.
Prepare maintenance data for the assigned tasks.
Track and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and inspections.
Prepare invoices for handling charges related to maintenance services.
Process invoices and other financial transactions.
Assist with placement of orders, process refunds or credit notes.
Provide support with company material handling storage.
Assist with the administration of station ground equipment and vehicles.
Ensure IT system functionality.
Requirements
High School graduation
Proven experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Planner or in a similar role within the aviation industry
In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance procedures
Previous customer service and / or administrative duties
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing tasks
High attention to detail and adapt to work unsupervised and in a large team
IT literacy including Microsoft Office
