About our group:Launch HAMR VTS lab is responsible for Seagate media electrical testing, failure analysis and characterization. You are required to provide support for daily VTS testing on sample disks submitted to the lab, generate data, analyze simple electrical data and support engineers in running evaluations.About the role - you will:

• Support day or night shift VTS media testing
• Perform electrical testing.
• Hands on loading head, media and operating VTS testers.
• Analyze electrical data, ensure test repeatability for measurement accuracy and compiling report before publishing the relevant and accurate data to Fremont and Woodlands team.
• Upload test data to the server.
• Work closely with engineers for job priority and basic tester trouble shooting.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by immediate superior or management.

About you:

• A good team player with positive attitude and self-initiative
• Willing to work permanent 12-hour Night Shift
• Willing to work overtime when required
• Willing to work in cleanroom environment which requires wearing of jumpsuit.

Your experience includes:

• Troubleshooting and failure analysis
• Knowledgeable and proficient in MS Word/Excel/ Powerpoint and knowledge of QSR/EHS/5S protocol.
• Candidate with working experience in laboratory or semiconductor/hard-disc drive industry are preferable. Advantage with previous VTS testing etc
