Job Title: Engineering Specialist SeniorWork Location: Singapore/Hong KongOrganization/Department: Network Engineering, ITD, FedEx APACNetwork Engineering at FedEx The Network Engineering team at FedEx oversees the architecture and maintaining of mission-critical network infrastructure in Asia Pacific. You will experience a mix of activities from arhitecture design, building and optimizing the network infrastructure, to maintaining network uptime, to implementing region-wide deployments and transformation.This role comes with on-call responsibility. Analyze network needs for all APAC locations, determine respective user requirements and propose recommendation. . Develop and implement installation and maintenance programs for the telecommunications and network infrastructure in APAC. . Provide network performance benchmarking for internal and external customers; develop and implement network resource utilization tools in order to maintain the most efficient and cost-effective network infrastructure for FedEx APAC. . Provide technical support and participate in product evaluation projects and Proof of Concept. . Monitor implementation of projects and programs, adhering to established workmanship standards, policies and procedures. . participate in the establishment of telecommunication and network standards, policies and procedures. Enforce compliance to ensure deployed technologies meet corporate standards. . Monitor and resolve systematic, procedural and reliability issues related to the network infrastructure. . Provide 2nd level telecommunication and network problem management support. . Develop and implement backup strategy and plan for the regional network.Requirements . Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics and Mathematics or related discipline . Experience: Five (5) years of professional experience in telecommunication/networking infrastructure design and support. . Cisco CCNP . Solid understanding of monitoring tools and ability to define metrics to detect anomalies . Troubleshooting complex network related problems and issues . Understanding of ITIL .
