As an Engineering Technician, you will be supporting the implementation of novel farming systems that improve operational efficiency and farm performance. Capabilities in electrical and mechanical works are needed for this role. As a member of the engineering team, you will collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop systems that will revolutionise agriculture. Your tasks include repair, install, replacement, and servicing various systems and equipment.



What we Expect from you?
  • Provide system installation and servicing at customer site and or in-house.
  • Perform servicing (maintenance), repairing (troubleshooting) and replacement
  • Identify safety hazards and propose corrective action
  • Tally and check the conditions of parts and accessories
  • Support field technical and engineering activities
  • Liaise with logistics team for delivery of goods
  • Assisting in any other operational work



Requirements
  • Possess Min. Certificate / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in electrical/mechanical
  • Able to carry out trouble shooting and minor repairs
  • Positive and willing to learn attitude, possess high level of initiative
  • Good communication skills and able to relate well with others
  • Class 3 Driving License



Farm Engineer (Electrical/Electronics)

This position for Farm Engineer (Electrical/Electronics) is to further enhance and develop a novel farming system that integrate collaborative systems to improve operation efficiency and farm performance. This position requires the engineer to have sound knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems in order to perform in his/her role. As a member of the engineering team, you will collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop systems that will revolutionise agriculture. Your task will be to design, evaluate, and integrate automation solutions into current innovative systems developed to automate various farm operations. This role has the opportunity to improve process, integrate new systems and project management.



What we Expect from you?
  • System design, integration, testing and troubleshooting
  • Provide technical and engineering services for farm operations
  • Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure safety, reliability and efficiency
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
  • Liaison with contractors/vendors/suppliers
  • Develop project documentation

  • Experience in solution configurations/overall architecture design and the creation of Proof of Concept to meet customer requirements is desirable
  • Proficient in Python is an advantage

Quality Assurance Specialist

You will be the first QA member of our team, working closely with the Farm to build Archisen\xe2\x80\x99s Quality Management System and work on addressing real time quality problems. You will eventually build and lead the quality team within Archisen.



What we Expect from you?
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Quality Management System consisting of methods, procedures, measurements, planning and review of components
  • Maintain and update documentation associated to SS661 and SS675
  • Maintain, review and update standard operating procedures, work instructions and other forms of document change
  • Maintain CAPA for customer reviews and complaints
  • Develop, maintain and review product recall and traceability

Software Engineer

  • Assist in the development of websites/mobile applications
  • Designing page wireframes/layouts and custom graphics, formatting content, quality assurance testing, translating wireframes to web-apps to be used by our own staff
  • Improving current IoT infrastructure for our indoor farm
  • Working with external collaborators to integrate modules into our web-apps
  • Developing APIs for IoT components to interact with

In conjunction with Archisen\xe2\x80\x99s expansion plan, we are setting up a new business unit to sell high quality agriculture supplies. The manager will be working closely with the operations, business development, and technical teams to develop the new business unit.



What we Expect from you?
  • Develop the company\xe2\x80\x99s new agriculture supplies business in collaboration with operations, business development, and technical teams. Business activities include procurement, supply chain management, break bulking, processing, order fulfilment, inventory management, distribution, and quality control
  • Set up and maintain production facilities
  • Hire, train, and manage operators
  • Collaborate with other departments to create new product offerings, validate new suppliers/methodology, and improve SOPs

Urban Farmer Operator

As an urban farmer, you will be involved in planting, production, and housekeeping tasks in a clean and air-conditioned environment. You will be working closely in teams with other urban farmers, technicians, farm leaders and the farm manager to ensure smooth operations of the farm.



What we Expect from you?
  • Perform planting tasks (seeding, movement, transplanting and harvesting) together with other farm operators
  • Process and pack finished salad products
  • Groom and maintain crops in a designated space
  • Check production parameters prior to the start of each process

As a member of the crop science team, you will play a critical role in the post-harvest process in keeping our produce fresh and food safe. In addition to performing crop science experiments, your specialisation role begins after the harvesting of crops \xe2\x80\x93 shelf life evaluation and auditing, food packaging analysis, sensory evaluation, waste valorisation and new product development. It is important that you work well with a team and are comfortable working closely with farm engineers, farm managers and business development executives.



What we Expect from you?
  • Explore new ideas to improve crop quality and yield through literature review and other resources
  • Design and conduct experiments to determine the effects of growing conditions on plant growth and expand crop recipes for our partner farms
  • Monitor, investigate and identify problems with plant growth in the lab as well as the farm
  • Perform farm operations (seeding, transplanting, harvesting), basic lab operations (sampling and analysis), and managing laboratory
  • Provide consultancy and auditing services to our partner farms
