Job Description

• Partner with Garena staff across publishing, game design, community, and operations to identify use cases where large language models (LLMs) can add value
• Design and build LLM-powered solutions, such as content generation, automated support, and workflow assistants
• Integrate LLM capabilities into internal tools and pipelines, enabling non-technical staff to leverage AI directly in their daily work
• Fine-tune or adapt LLMs with Garena-specific data to improve relevance, accuracy, and usability
• Evaluate emerging LLM applications and prototype them for game development and publishing workflows
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with data privacy and compliance standards

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field from a reputable university
• At least 1 year of working experience in a software engineering field is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Proficiency in Python and ability to rapidly prototype AI applications
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques
• Experience integrating LLMs into products or internal tools via APIs, plugins, or automation frameworks
• Understanding of evaluation metrics for LLM systems, including relevance, bias, and usability
• Ability to translate staff needs into AI-enabled workflows through close collaboration and iterative development
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams
• Portfolio showcasing applied LLM projects in real-world or production contexts is a strong plus
• Experience and passion in the gaming industry is a plus
