Julian Grey\'s client is a Singapore based solution provider for high quality IT security products to value add to their MNC clients & channel partners and has been in the market for 25 years. With a team of more than 200 highly experienced professionals, the company is looking for individuals who are passionate about the IT security industry to join their rapidly expanding team.

Location: Tampines (Shuttle bus provided to and from Tampines MRT)
Working hours: 8.30am - 6pm (Mon - Thu), 8.30am - 5.30pm (Fri)

Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and deliver functional software applications that align with our customers\' operational goals.
• Enhance software quality by implementing XP (Extreme Programming) practices, including code reviews and unit testing.
• Uphold the principles of the Software Craftsmanship Manifesto in software development.
• Prepare technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and other relevant materials.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to elaborate on user stories and requirements.
• Support Quality Assurance by assisting with test automation and addressing software bugs.
• Aid the DevOps team in automating build and release processes.
• Maintain, troubleshoot both web & backend applications, providing technical support as needed.
• Facilitate communication and problem resolution with external stakeholders and customers.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Candidates with a strong technical background will also be considered.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, and familiarity with at least one of the following: ArcGIS, Angular, or Python.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in the following areas:

• Databases, including MSSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Windows and/or Shell scripting.
• Message queuing systems, such as RabbitMQ or an equivalent.
• Event streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Unstructured and NoSQL databases, for example, MongoDB.
• Experience in software architecture design is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Gitlab, Docker, Jenkins, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Exposure to Big Data and Data Analytics concepts, such as Hadoop, is beneficial.
• Understanding and experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Competence in full-stack software development.
