OVERVIEW

We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test and operationalise capabilities with game changing technologies for national security.

Examples include:

Implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered personalised training systems to optimise training effectiveness


Applying Data Analytics (DA) to facilitate performance analysis, identify areas for improvement and drive data-based decisions


Harnessing Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) to create realistic and experiential training environments


Identifying emerging trends and innovating solutions for training systems


Conducting proof-of-concept studies and creating prototypes to demonstrate how technologies like gamification can shape new training paradigms


Integrating leading-edge defence capabilities into training systems to deliver operational training capabilities for the SAF

SCOPE OF WORK

You will work in a cross-disciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, and hone your knowledge of Training Simulators to:

Develop, test, and deliver game-changing engineering solutions


Architect and integrate best-of-breed systems worldwide to deliver cohesive capabilities


Experiment and evaluate new technologies for operationalisation


Ensure products meet the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability


Collaborate and co-develop technologies with leading organisations, companies and research institutions from both Singapore and internationally


Manage and improve the systems to meet operational requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering


A keen interest in gaming technologies and a passion for exploring the diverse possibilities of VR, AR, and MR


Innovative and willing to learn new skills and expand into exciting new tech domains


Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a can-do spirit


Willing to travel for overseas work trips #
