What the role is:
As an Engineer/Senior Engineer, you will be deployed to one of the following teams under Water Supply (Plants) Department to manage and develop Singapore's water resources : 1. Electrical This team is responsible for maintaining electrical equipment in the water treatment plant. 2. Mechanical This team is responsible for maintaining mechanical equipment in the water treatment plant. 3. Instrumentation & Control (IC) This team is responsible for maintaining instruments in the water treatment plant, including the computer-based system and PLC.
What you will be working on:
Your responsibilities could involve the following areas: o Oversee plant operations and activities to ensure the plants are able to operate at design capacity reliably, efficiently and in compliance with all stringent water quality requirements o Plan and implement maintenance activities on equipment at plant to ensure its reliability in supporting operational requirements and compliance with relevant statutory requirements o Troubleshoot any equipment and system malfunctions on site, and plan for corrective actions o Manage maintenance of OT equipment to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements o Coordinating or executing the administrative work and contractual work for the plant o Preparing estimates, specifications and tender documents for the plant During the course of the work, you may be required to work closely with departments, consultants, contractors and other public agencies.
What we are looking for:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics as well as other relevant disciplines) o Independent, result oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills o Candidates with relevant working experience may be considered for a senior role. Work Location For Electrical positions, the selected candidate may be deployed to Tuas South Desalination Plant (TSDP), Tuas Desalination Plant (TDP), MEICA Division (HQ). For Mechanical positions, the selected candidate may be deployed to Chestnut Ave Waterworks, Woodleigh Waterworks, Lower Seletar Waterworks. For IC positions, the selected candidate may be deployed to Tuas South Desalination Plant (TSDP), Choa Chu Kang Waterworks, Lower Seletar Waterworks, MEICA Division (HQ).
