What you will be working on:
1. Work closely with Consultants/Contractors, and plant operators to develop/expand WRP to ensure that end users' requirements are managed and met in terms of scope, quality, benefits and risks within the constraints of the project's timeline. 2. Preparation of tender specifications for the calling of tenders/quotations, evaluation of tender bids and putting up tender submission for its award. 3. Review electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (EICA) design together with Process, Civil and Mechanical counterparts to ensure that these meet with design and specifications. 4. Review design calculations submitted by Contractor and ensure compliance with requirements by existing operations and maintenance teams at WRPs, standards and code of practices. 5. Manage and administer the projects and monitor the progress to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and meet financial requirements. 6. Monitor Consultant's progress by monitoring the project schedule against actual work on site through regular meetings. 7. Verify and process monthly progress claims of works and ensure that claims are valid and in accordance with the progress of works done. 8. Evaluate the alternatives proposed by the Consultant(s) and ensure that the design meets the objectives of the project. 9. Coordinate with all stakeholders for interfacing with Plants and other ongoing contracts. 10. Monitor performance of Consultants.
