We are looking for someone to join our Chief Investment Office (CIO) research team who knows how to edit and write for a range of end users, from the most sophisticated financial gurus to your everyday investor.

Your role

• You will be part our research team who knows how to edit and write for a range of end users, from the most sophisticated financial gurus to your everyday investor.
• This role is for an editor and investment writer with existing knowledge of financial markets and, most importantly, understands how content is consumed in today’s world. We seek someone who can look at text and reimagine how it can be revised to better communicate our views, and someone who has a flair for writing and can turn boring text into engaging content.
• Editors are integral members of the CIO team and ensure that all our publications are of top-notch standard. Beyond exceptional writing skills, they need to have superb collaborative abilities and an innate commitment to excellent quality.
• Editing tasks span everything from high-profile whitepapers to single-page asset class updates. Writing work includes ghostwriting sections in flagship publications, developing op-eds for leaders, and producing various types of content for different platforms.
• The ideal candidate is a native English speaker with a background in journalism or communications, and is open to obtaining FINRA licenses (Series 16) to one day become a supervisory analyst.

Your team
Wealth Management's Global Chief Investment Office synthesizes the analysis and expertise of our global network of economists, strategists and analysts. We are present around the globe, closely monitoring and assessing financial developments, and identifying emerging trends or economic inflection points. Our team's primary goal is to identify and effectively communicate investment opportunities and market risks in order to help preserve and grow our clients' wealth. In addition to working on our existing shelf of CIO reports you may be involved in content for a new digital ecosystem in which CIO views are presented in innovative ways.
Your expertise
You have:

• experience in an investment research environment
• exceptional English language writing and editing skills
• a creative flair and the ability to structure arguments clearly
• an eagle eye for detail
• experience, or openness to learn, on how to communicate through video / movies and other media

You are:

• able to multi-task and work efficiently against tight deadlines
• pro-active in your approach and able to work autonomously
• a good communicator
• familiar with digital publishing and the relevant business social media channels
• fluency in written Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred, but not a “must” requirement.
