About the Role

A leading secondary school offering an applied learning curriculum is seeking a passionate and dedicated

English Language Teacher

to join its dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in developing students' language proficiency, critical thinking, and communication skills through engaging and innovative lessons.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging English Language lessons that cater to a range of learning needs and abilities. Foster students' literacy, communication, and analytical skills through creative and applied learning approaches. Design and implement assessments to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment design, and professional development initiatives. Serve as a Form Teacher if required, providing mentorship and pastoral care to students. Contribute to the holistic development of students by supporting co-curricular activities and school events when necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in English and Education,

Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)

from NIE,

Diploma in Education (NIE)

, or other equivalent teaching qualifications. Strong passion for

. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A student-centred educator who can inspire and motivate learners.
