About the role

We are seeking a secondary school level English Teacher to join our team at Ruisheng Education Centre (3 mins walk from Clarke Quay MRT). This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with dedicated students and colleagues in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

What you'll be doing

Delivering engaging and effective lessons in your subject area to secondary school students Developing and implementing creative lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records Collaborating with fellow teachers to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods Participating in staff meetings, professional development activities, and other school initiatives Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and growth

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in English or a relevant subject area Minimum 1 year of teaching experience at the secondary school level Able to work both weekends 9am to 6pm and Mon to Wed 10am to 7pm (rest days on Thursday and Friday) Strong subject matter expertise and a passion for teaching and learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the diverse needs of students
