[How You Will Grow from This Opportunity]You will gain valuable experience in:(a) coordinating classroom management with a variety of modes, methods and tools;(b) facilitating constructive and engaging lessons;(c) providing effective feedback to students; and(d) motivating students to perform their bestYou will work closely with experienced Language Specialists and have access to our unique and proven method of teaching English / GP using Formulas.During your internship, you will learn different coordination and classroom management strategies for well-organised and smooth lessons.You will also learn how to facilitate lessons / group discussions that are both effective and engaging, using a range of teaching methods and techniques.Additionally, you will learn how to provide feedback to students in a constructive and supportive manner, helping them to improve their English Language skills.One of the most important skills you will develop during your internship is the ability to build rapport with students.Our teaching philosophy emphasises the importance of creating a positive and supportive learning environment, and we believe that building strong relationships with students is key to achieving this goal.You will learn how to connect with students on a personal level, and how to create a sense of trust and mutual respect that will enhance the learning experience for learners.Exceptional interns who demonstrate outstanding performance may potentially be upgraded to a Teaching Associate (Part-Time) OR be given a job offer as a Teaching Specialist (Full-Time) upon completion of internship.As a member of Team EduEdge, you will receive close mentorship and guidance from our experienced Founders & Leaders, as well as a structured career mapping program to fast track your career growth - as a Teacher, Leader or Entrepreneur - within the Company.From Language Specialist to Master Specialist to Principal Master Specialist to Director of Education / Partner (Own an EduEdge Centre) - a career path will be planned out for you based on your capabilities and hunger for SUCCESS![Who Will Be The Right Fit For This Opportunity]You will be a great fit for this opportunity if you are:

• A Diploma Holder or A-Level / IB Graduate;
• Currently waiting for your University admission / tertiary studies to commence;
• Looking for meaningful work during your school term break;
• Thinking of establishing a teaching career for yourself in the education sector;

Key requirements:

• Good credit in O-Level English (A1 / A2) or A-Level General Paper (B) / IB equivalent subject
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Passionate about education and working with students
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong work ethic and takes pride in your work

What you will be involved with:

• Assist Lead Teachers in the preparation and facilitation of English / GP lessons
• Help to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
• Provide feedback to students on their progress and performance
• Assist with classroom management and supervision
• Collaborate with experienced teachers to identify areas for improvement and development

Schedule:As a forward-thinking organisation, we believe that productivity is not about clocking hours in the office. We offer a semi-flexi arrangement based upon mutual understanding and trust with our staff to encourage their peak performance.Teachers can choose where, how and when they would like to work so long as they are on task, on time and on target.This means you are required to be in the office only when you have classes or to attend meetings and training.

• Up to 5 classes (10 hours) per week
• Wednesday (10.30 am to 6.30 pm): Company Town Halls, Team Meetings or Training

You can choose ONE of these arrangements:

• 2 x weekdays + 1 weekend (SAT / SUN); OR
• 2 x weekends (SAT & SUN)

Period of Internship:

• Minimum: 16 weeks
