Role Overview:


We are seeking a seasoned

Enterprise Architect - AI

to lead the architectural design and strategic implementation of scalable AI solutions across edge, cloud, and on-premises environments. This role combines deep AI technical expertise with enterprise architecture skills to support mission-critical initiatives under the global AI & Software Center for Rolls-Royce Power Systems.


Key Responsibilities:


AI Architecture Services


Provide

pre-project technical consulting

to estimate effort and assess feasibility for AI solutions. Design and maintain

scalable, flexible architecture frameworks

supporting AI across multiple platforms. Define

technical standards, validation processes, and versioning protocols

for AI services and algorithms. Ensure effective

interaction and interface design

between AI microservices and non-AI components. Develop

self-service tools and governance models

to enable AI capability across teams. Lead

technology scouting

efforts to identify emerging AI trends and opportunities. Drive

cross-functional collaboration

with infrastructure and shared services teams.
AI Engineering Services


Provide

technical leadership

and governance to internal and external development teams. Assist Product Owners in

technical backlog creation and enabler definition

. Define and implement

testing strategies

, ensuring reliability and compliance with architectural standards. Act as a

technical advisor to the AI architect

, contributing to planning and agile ceremonies. Promote an

agile, self-organizing culture

within delivery teams. Facilitate

seamless integration with shared IT services

and platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years

of experience in enterprise architecture, with

strong exposure to AI/ML systems

. Deep understanding of

AI design patterns

, ML algorithms (incl. generative models), and

data processing

for microservices. Hands-on experience with

big data technologies

: PySpark, Kafka, Hadoop. Strong expertise in

Microsoft Azure

(Azure ML, OpenAI, AKS). Familiar with

microservice architecture

, DevOps practices, and MLOps frameworks. Excellent communication skills and

fluency in English

. Proven leadership in

agile environments

and cross-functional team coordination. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and

collaborative mindset

Work Environment & Expectations:

Hybrid work setup

in Singapore. Willingness to work

second shift (CET)

on Tuesday and Wednesday to collaborate with EMEA/US teams. * Occasional

business travel

as required.
