The Enterprise Program Manager will play a vital role in defining, developing, and operationalizing the new Enterprise Segment organization to establish the Enterprise Segment and drive operational excellence. You will play a critical role in in establishing and managing the end-to-end delivery of internal and external complex and / or multiple large-scale projects and are recognized for building engaged high performing teams that deliver great outcomes for our customers. You have demonstrated experience working with complex stakeholder environments where you manage expectations and deliver within the budget, quality, scope, and time constraints. Key accountabilities includes:

  • Provide senior level leadership and guidance for quality delivery, enhancing team cohesion, capability, and measured and proven performance
  • Utilize varied and contemporary delivery techniques including Telstra Ways of Working and Program Delivery on large, cross functional, complex initiatives. Demonstrate expertise and deep proficiency in determining dependencies and coordinating E2E delivery successfully at a portfolio level. You are recognized for your delivery expertise within and external to Telstra
  • Successfully manage complex stakeholder interactions, relationships, and conflicting priorities at an executive level across business units, driving cross portfolio alignment to project and transformation objectives, and desired business outcomes
  • Actively monitor delivery progress at a strategic level and ensure initiatives/missions deliver the product, system or processes that are required to realize the identified benefits within defined quality, time, and cost constraints
  • Use structured mechanisms to benchmark practices and outcomes, to question delivery results and identify key learnings for improvement in alignment with the WOW COE and Telstra transformation aspirations
  • Personally model, coach and lead people to high standards of performance, both within the mission and the chapter. Provide mentoring to emerging delivery practitioners in Telstra and participate in the chapter areas cultural and capability uplift programs
  • Ensure the work you are responsible for is delivered in alignment with Telstra’s policies, processes, and tools. This includes standards and guidance from the WOW PD COE, financial management policies, and project and program delivery guidelines
  • Model continuous professional and personal growth and showcasing learning from experience in relation to PMBOK, Agility, Telstra Financial Management and Telstra policies related to project and program delivery
  • Actively support chapter members, stakeholders, employees, and users to adopt new ways of working / systems / processes
What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Extensive experience in disciplined Program and Project Management
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management experience with the ability to effectively influence across the business and build strong relationships.
  • You’re highly organized, balancing tenacity and resilience with a flexible approach, and can use these skills to ensure that multiple tasks/projects and deadlines are managed
  • You are an innovative leader, bringing an agile mindset and best practices to each project along with more traditional approaches as appropriate for the best outcome given the context
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to facilitate key decisions quickly and effectively, and provide key data points to support these, and analysis on likely impact, risk, and outcome
  • A pragmatic approach to problem solving and enjoys taking on complex and ambiguous problems
