Job Description

Board Function:The primary job responsibility of the ESH Section Manager is to ensure environmental, safety, and health compliance by ensuring the plant\'s operations align with regulatory requirements. The manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining ESH programs, policies, and procedures to minimise environmental impact, prevent accidents, and promote a safe and healthy work environment for employees. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, provides guidance and training to employees, and fosters a culture of ESH awareness and responsibility throughout the organisation. They are responsible for monitoring and reporting ESH performance within the Company and liaising with regulatory agencies and participating in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ESH regulations.Requirements

• Degree in ESH / Chemical Engineering or equivalent with Min 5 years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years in a similar capacity
• Level C WSH competency certification.
• Knowledge of ISO 45000, SS651 & 14000
• Has working knowledge of ACTA framework.
• Certified in confine space assessor / WAH Assessor/ Biz Safe level 2.
• Vendor and ISO Management with experience liaising with government authorities.
• People Management to manage the ESH team to achieve the Section\'s KPIs constantly.
• Ability to conduct risk assessment EAI assessment and to lead in accident investigation.

/ Responsibilities:

• Ensure Plant Process Safety Updates and Manage (MHI) Safety Case
• Lead Safety Case related items according to MHI Regulations.
• Oversee and manage the budget and expenditure for ESH.
• Approve the purchase of consumables and equipment.
• Ensure the Company complies with Legal, regulatory, and other (stakeholders) requirements.
• Support major shutdown activities
• Manage legal register as part of the monitoring of compliance.
• Arrange heath assessments for employees and monitor annual assessments (stacks, IHM, Noise assessments)
• Lead EAI and Risk assessment program for all process-related modifications.
• Manage ESH Related Work Procedure / SOP & ad hoc task as assigned.
• Develop / review and update related procedures / SOPs.
• Communicate to authorities for licensing regime for modification/increase of hazardous substance quantity.
• Incident Investigation and Non-Conformance reporting to authorities.
• Arrange, manage and oversee all external and internal ESH training in the Company to ensure optimal competency.

Other Information:

• Working Location: Jurong Island
• Company Transport provided at Jurong East and Lakeside MRT
• 5 days\' work week from 8am - 4.45pm
• Commence work: ASAP.
• Salary Range: $4,600 - $6,000 Neg + $220 Site Allowance + $75 Transport Allowance+13mth AWS+ Variable Bonus 2-3-4 months.
