• Position : Environmental Control Officer or Safety Coordinator (Construction/LTA)
• Location : Office in Changi, work site at Tuas
• Working hours : 6 days work week, Monday- Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm
• Salary (Commensurate with experience): Up to $5200 Basic + AWS +
• Variable Bonus (twice per year) + 12 days annual leave
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Business Consulting ( Building/Construction)

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform the duty of Environmental Control Officer in accordance to
• Environmental Public Health Act
• Maintain ECO registration by NEA
• Submission of site environmental control program and site environmental control report
• Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the Occupier
• Inspect construction site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard
• Point out and discuss environmental health irregularities (mosquito and fly breeding, rodent infestation, noise/ dust/ smoke/ water pollution, poor housekeeping, earth littering, poor refuse management/maintenance of sanitary facilities) with occupier of the construction site and recommend measures to rectify such irregularities
• Ensure workplace is in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Act and its subsidiary regulations that is relevant to its nature of work
• Monitoring of the WSH Management System implementation procedures
• Conducting regular site inspections and corrective actions
• To enforce and monitor safety conduct
• Carry out investigations and reporting on all incidents, inclusive of accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences
• Oversee safe project execution & lead the subcontractors to ensure compliance to all WSH matters
• Liaise closely with project team to provide assistance in any WSH matters
• Recommend the employer of the worksite to implement such reasonably practicable measures to remedy unsafe condition or unsafe work practice
• Assist in implementation of safety measurement on the worksite
• Identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice
• To inspect and report any safety infringement
• Updating & maintaining of all Safety Health & Environmental documentations and legal registers.

Requirement

• Candidate must be a Registered Environmental Control Officer with National Environmental Agency
• Possess Advance Certificate in WSH or Safety Coordinator Training Certificate
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Building Construction or LTA Projects
• Manage working at Height
• Lifting Supervisor
• Confined Space Safety Assessor
