Our client is a leading Main Contractor with a strong portfolio of HDB residential developments across Singapore. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Environmental Control Officer (ECO) to join their site team and ensure environmental compliance and excellence in construction practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage the Site Environmental Control Programme in accordance with NEA and PUB regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor vector control, waste management, drainage, and air/dust pollution.
Ensure compliance with Earth Control Measures (ECM) and submit fortnightly reports to relevant authorities.
Identify and mitigate environmental risks such as mosquito breeding, poor housekeeping, and water stagnation.
Liaise with subcontractors and site teams to ensure prompt rectification of environmental issues.
Promote environmental awareness through toolbox talks, site campaigns, and training sessions.
Support investigations and audits by NEA, PUB, and other regulatory bodies.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of inspections, reports, and corrective actions.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Environmental, Civil Engineering, or Construction-related discipline.
Registered ECO with NEA and Certified ECMO by IES.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably on HDB projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Able to work independently and travel across project sites.
