ESH Engineer / Assistant Engineer - Chemical / Manufacturing

Jurong Island, Singapore (Company Transport Provided)

Salary:

S$3,000 - S$4,200/month

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM

Key Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and report ESH-related data to support compliance and continuous improvement Conduct safety inspections, workplace audits, inductions, and training programs for staff and contractors Participate in risk assessments, HAZOP studies, PPE evaluations, and Management of Change (MOC) reviews Ensure compliance with legal requirements, audits, and submissions to authorities Oversee contractor management, including document checks, PTW compliance, and safe work practices Support process safety initiatives, operational enhancements, and emergency preparedness activities

Requirements

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent At least 1 year of relevant experience; entry-level candidates with strong interest in process safety are welcome Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Singapore ESH legal requirements WSQ certifications (e.g., WSH Level C, Work at Height, Confined Space Supervision, Incident & Risk Management) preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office (functions, formulas, data analysis) Strong communication, teamwork, and independent work skills Safety-conscious with the ability to guide others in adopting safe practices
