:This position is accountable for supporting and maintaining the Environmental Health and Safety ("EHS") programs, activities, and control measures for the site, as well as coordinating these efforts with various compliance programs, to protect all personnel and physical assets. This position helps ensure compliance with all occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements under federal, state, and local law and regulations. include Process Safety Management supports, EHS support for R&D facilities, external warehousing and tolling activities in APAC.Responsibilities:

  • warehousing and tolling activities in Singapore and APAC region.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local / international regulatory requirements and internal EHS programs in the country of Singapore.
  • Engage with Singapore Leadership Team on the country EHS programs, goals and objectives and provide active advice/coaching/support in alignment with Corporate EHS goals/targets.
  • Practice Felt Leadership and engage Site Management Team in EHS matters and continuous improvement projects.
  • Report monthly/Annual EHS KPIs and metrics to Corporate EHS.
  • Lead Incident Management Program, including investigation, performing data analysis to identify trend of incidents and areas to focus improvement.
  • Ensure Audit action items and incident investigation follow up actions are properly documented in CARES system and appropriately followed up to action closure.
  • Lead and coordinate all EHS/PSM Audits including Safety Management System (SMS), Corporate audits, customer\'s audits, and relevant Government audits.
  • Ensure sites maintain the ISO14001, 45001 and SS651 certifications.
  • Lead in Major Hazards Installation programs, hazard reviews, PSSR, JSA, RA reviews and Self audit programs.
  • Coordinate with Corporate and site PSM lead on the PSM standards gap assessment and establish action plans to close the gaps.
  • Establish annual EHS training calendar and identify and support development and provision of annual EHS Training for employees including Fire Fighting training, SCBA training and other mandatory safety trainings.
  • Conduct regular fire fighting drills (table top, live) and evacuation drill for emergency preparedness.
  • Coordinate and drive implementation of behavioral safety training and other Corporate EHS initiatives as directed.
  • Establish monthly Site Safety committee meeting and ensure robust EHS engagement with the committee and site members.
Establish regular EHS campaigns to elevate EHS engagement of the siteQualifications:Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have an associate\'s degree or higher or two (2) years of work experience in environmental, health and safety
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
  • Have prior work experience managing industrial safety standards including respirator and lifting safety
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience in environmental, health, and safety, or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an environmental, health and safety function
  • Have prior work experience using a safety management system
  • Have prior work experience conducting training and/or developing training materials
  • Have a bachelor\'s degree or higher in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering or Business
  • Provide EHS oversight and support for significant Capex projects, including hazard review, permit applications, PSSR etc.
  • Support EHS due diligence review of new business acquisition/tolling activities in the Region.
  • Support site EHS in Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
  • As a member of the regional EHS Team, help develop strategic and annual goals, objectives and programs towards Zero vision - injury prevention, regulatory compliance and cultural transformation.
