RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Repair department to meet company business objectives.
Lead projects to introduce new facilities, process, or equipment, ensure project specifications are met and completed within budget and time schedule.
Manage vendors or contractors to service and maintain site equipment, to minimize unplanned downtime.
Support projects through onsite supervision and permits issuance and ensure contractors' strict compliance to site's requirement.
Liaise with regulatory authorities (such as NEA, MOM, SCDF, etc.) on reporting of relevant metrics.
Monitor equipment consumption and waste management (oil, coolant, water, etc.), ensure environmental sustainability reporting are on time for energy, electrical, hazardous and wastewater management.
Ensure compliance of standards and lead continuous improvement projects to bring progressive change to the department and company.
Assist Department Manager in all cost issues related to the cells to meet company's revenue/profit goals and achieve cost reduction.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Mechanical or other relevant academic qualification with minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience in project management, facilities management, or maintenance knowledge.
Good working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
Analytical with strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Highly motivated with a strong drive for success.
Good team player with strong communications and interpersonal skills.
