We offer flexible and cost effective semiconductor fabrication solutions by maintaining fully equipped SMIF cleanroom environment, 100% equipment automation and proven wafer-manufacturing processes.At SSMC, every career journey is unique and rewarding.We\'re looking for an ESG Engineer/Senior Engineer to join our Facilities Department diverse team of talentWhat you will be working on:To assist ESG Manager to drive overall ESG initiatives in SSMC including Improvement Roadmap KPIs tracking and reporting including supporting on nation & corporate legal/standard requirement actions.

• To support on establishing reporting framework for SSMC to fulfil NXP - Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements.
• To drive the ESG improvement projects in SSMC to reduce CO2 emission and water consumption. Manage your team members (facilities & module) and contractors to ensure project being plan, schedule and execute in timely manner. To prepare reports and update Management Team on regular basis.
• To support on Carbon Pricing Act on Greenhouse Gas (GHG) external audits. Prepare reports and update Management Team (MT) on regular basis.

• To assist manager on managing cost budgets for Capex projects and expenses including planning reviewing, tracking & reporting.
• To manage ESG optimization projects:
• Perform role of Project Manager to plan, lead, executing, monitoring, controlling and manage projects.
• To execute the projects to meet project requirements and objectives.
• Regular reporting to management.
• To manage coordination with government agencies (NEA/EDB) to ensure all reports to authorities are submitted on time and accurately.
• To manage Ecovision (Utilities Usage Record Platform) system updates routine:
• Together with system owner keeping track of utilities consumption / waste disposal & periodically update to management on any abnormal consumption / collection / disposal observed.
• Perform problem solving, incident reporting, bills & invoice verification and energy & CO2 emission reporting.
• To be the facilitator to solve complex problems
• Execute analytical approaches to provide engineering opinions.
• Promote collaborative teamwork among team members & peers.
• To manage compliance and maintain performance standards
• To be as role model to ensure to obey all compliances.
• Setup & maintain good project plan, operation procedures and quality standards.
• To support site Safety Programme and Emergency Response Teams
• To support environmental, safety and health issues, ensure adherence to sound and well established practices and management systems
• To support internal and external audits such as ISO audits, fire insurance audit and etc.
• To liaise with the relevant authorities regarding regulatory requirements and permit applications
• Any other duties assigned by the manager

More About you :Min. Degree holder preferable in Chemical/Gas, Mechanical, Environmental, health and safety & other engineeringPreferable 3 years in similar capacity and working experience in semiconductor manufacturing plants in facilities management handling mechanical system such as semiconductor cleanroom / chiller plant / exhaust / air abatement system.Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrentlySelf-motivated and able to work independently under high pressure and fast work environment.Preferably knowledgeable and experience in Energy/GHG reduction project management, EHS legislatives and requirements.Experienced in semiconductor plant facilities project and hook-up works.Possess excellent paperwork skills such as Power point preparation & presentation.Possess strong data gathering and data analysis capability with good excel worksheet & formula preparation & presentation skills.Possess good working skills to draft/amend SOP, Operating Procedures & Maintenance Checklist etc.SSMC is committed to equal employment opportunities and abides by the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP).
