Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Performs cost estimates for Electrical, Telecommunication & Instrumentation materials in accordance to tender requirement and timeline.
• Sources for subcontractors and vendors for quotations, attend to clarifications promptly to obtain competitive pricing
• Evaluates quotation for make recommendation of selection
• Leads negotiation with subcontractors and vendors, challenge and resolve subcontractors/ vendors qualifications in meeting tender and pricing requirements
• Prepares material take off independently, cost breakdowns on price schedule format specified by customers and prepare cost summary and refine the cost breakdown based on engineering and customer requirements
• Coordinates with technical and project team on technical proposal submission and enquiries \xc2\xb7Perform cost trends studies to identify potential risks in project design development to devise guideline for costs estimates
• Maintains cost database and information collation for past estimating cases and studies
• requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in business management or related disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a contract management role, contract administration role, purchasing or contracting.
• Highly detail-oriented to spot inconsistencies in contracts.
• Possess superior ability in negotiating terms and drafting contracts, strong negotiation and mediation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem solving abilities
• Candidates with prior experience working in Offshore, Engineering or Construction areas is highly valued
