Job Description

Job Overview:

The ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using tools such as Pentaho or Informatica. The successful candidate will have experience in cloud environments like AWS and be proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, as well as programming in Python.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes. Utilize Pentaho and Informatica for building and managing ETL workflows. Develop data pipelines and workflows in AWS to ensure efficient data processing and storage. Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI for effective data visualization and insights. Write and optimize Python scripts for data manipulation and transformation tasks. - Monitor ETL processes for performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Document ETL processes, data definitions, and architectural designs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience with ETL tools, specifically Pentaho or Informatica. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue). Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Experience with Python for data processing and automation. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Redshift, PostgreSQL). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with data modelling and database design principles. Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Understanding of data governance and compliance best practices

Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
