, individuals who can lead shoots, follow briefs, and bring warmth and structure to both

event coverage

and

outdoor family portrait sessions

What You'll Be Doing

Photograph

corporate, community, and private events

(e.g. product launches, school events, government campaigns, birthday parties) Lead

outdoor portrait sessions

(families, couples, maternity, friends) with confidence and care Perform

basic event editing

(Lightroom-level edits: exposure, color, crop) - no retouching or graphics needed Guide and pose clients professionally while making them feel at ease Follow structured SOPs: naming conventions, upload methods, and project-specific requests Be punctual, prepared, and

willing to report early on-site

Attend occasional briefings via phone or in person for major assignments

Bonus Points

If you're skilled in

videography

, we may assign you hybrid or video-specific projects. We're not looking for "just okay", we're looking for versatile creatives we can trust across multiple media types.

Requirements

Proven experience in event or portrait photography Own gear: DSLR/mirrorless camera, lenses, speedlight Ability to work independently and take initiative onsite Confident guiding families and children in outdoor shoots Willingness to sign a

confidentiality and non-solicitation agreement

All assignments are governed under a

perpetual freelance agreement

Smart casual, neat, and appropriate for both professional events and family shoots Long pants and covered shoes required

Work Hours

Flexible, project-based Most events happen weekday daytime/evening and weekends. Family portrait sessions usually happen on weekends Each assignment typically lasts

120 Minutes or more

, but you may be onsite longer for certain events and be remunerated accordingly.
