The Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) is seeking a
dynamic and motivated Event and Outreach Associate
to support the
Events & Outreach Team
and
Corporate Communications Team
in the lead-up to the
Singapore 2025 World Para Swimming Championships (WPSC25)
--an
SG60 Signature Event
and the first edition of the Championships to be held in Asia.
This role will play a key part in delivering national disability sports events, community programmes, and public activations, ensuring smooth execution and meaningful engagement with stakeholders and the wider public.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Management & Stakeholder Liaison
? Provide operational support for national disability sports events and competitions, including stakeholder coordination, venue setup, event registration, and programme execution.
? Assist in the planning and delivery of community disability sports programmes, including marketing communications, participant liaison, schedule coordination, and logistics.
? Support mall activations, school outreach events, and other public engagement initiatives leading up to WPSC25. May be appointed as a lead for selected activations.
? Monitor and track outreach impact by compiling reports and maintaining stakeholder databases.
2. Protocol and Event Support for WPSC25
? Assist in the planning and coordination of ceremonial and protocol segments at the Championships.
? Facilitate on-site logistical arrangements such as seating, transport, and participant flow.
? Provide event-day support to ensure smooth execution of official and guest-facing activities.
3. General Administrative & Logistics Support
? Support procurement processes, including sourcing and liaising with suppliers for event materials and services.
? Prepare event kits, manage inventory, and coordinate deliveries across venues.
? Maintain effective communication with event stakeholders, participants, and volunteers to ensure seamless operations.
